CNBC reports that President-elect Biden will call on Congress to immediately cancel $10,000 in student debt for all borrowers

The ask will also extend the payment pause that’s scheduled to lapse this month, an aide told reporters Friday afternoon.

Around 90% of federal student loan borrowers have taken advantage of the government’s option to pause their payments during the pandemic.

The president-elect’s commitment to forgiving $10,000 in student debt falls in line with his promises on the campaign.

The British Medical Journal provides recommendations on Returning to physical activity after covid-19

The article focuses on those in contact with primary care providers, not just athletes as previous research has discussed. Recommendations include to:

  • Risk stratify patients before recommending a return to physical activity in people who have had covid-19.
  • Only return to exercise after at least seven days free of symptoms, beginning with two weeks of minimal exertion

Applications are open for the US Department of Veterans Affairs Chiropractic Residency Programs. The VA now has 10 residency sites across the US. The VA Chiropractic Residency program is a 1 year, full-time program that runs from July 1 to June 30. Deadline for Match registration is this Friday, January 15, 2021. Complete applications are due January 29, 2021.
